Christmas or Yuletide i think its also can be called, is connected with many different traditions around the world.

For me, it had included different things. From walking around the Christmas tree and singing, to just singing or not singing.
But in recent time it has been a celebration of living, being and having.
It still has something to do about receiving, but not as much as it once did.

It is for me, a time to remember those who are not celebrating with me any more.
But when time comes, also those who have joined the celebration.
But the most important thing is those who celebrate it with me.

When visiting my grandparents grave today I had a thought. It has been thought before, but I have not heard it about Christmas.

"From old life, come new life. From death come birth. This is Christmas."

The death of the old year, brings forth the new year.

One cannot live only in the past,, present or future. One has to live in them all.
